Be sure to make your plans well ahead of time as this is a very popular place for folks to rediscover their inner outdoorsman.

There is plenty to see and explore here, from the stool and mountain mahogany to the gray oak and alligator junipers this area is well endowed with all that makes New Mexico a national treasure of nature. There is more to this area than meets the eye, so keep an eye peeled for the wide variety of animal life that calls the recreation site home.   Then if you add the mystical qualities of the White Sands Desert, you have the perfect combination for a one of a kind break with civilization that will help you reset both your mind and your attitude.
